I was unemployed under new opt for 90 days and the rule says my status expires in such condition.   so what is there i can do .. working on transfering but havent got acceptance yet.. once out of status can i still transfer to another college. Help a brother.

well, u can not be out of status so soon. The rule was made on April 8,2008 and if u had got OPT before that, the rule will be effective from april 8 + 90 days.. that will be july 8.today is july 2nd .so u have 6 more days.after that to my understanding u will have 60 more days time period between which u can apply for any college and get I20.so hurry up and try to the get new I20 soon dude.Good luck.

Or u can consult with some indina consultant ( i hate to work for indians but still..). i will try to find a contact no. of one nepalese consultant. if they they technically hire you, i think there won't be any problem
