Does anybody know how many Nepalese are residing outside Nepal? Don't have to be exact number.

Another (may be a stupid) question: Does that # for "SAARC countries" inlclude Nepali-speaking people who are citizens of other countries, like Gorkhas of Darjeeling, Lhotsampas of Bhutan etc? Or would that include only Nepali citizens living temporarily in these countries?

I doubt it but not sure.  I doubt it becasue even though they are nepalese but are born in  foriegn soil. I was trying to find how many of us are oustside in order to feel how we are surviving with the crap Nepal has been dealing for 4-5 decades. 

Now the question -

In CIA factbook, it says we are approaching 30 million and now from nrn website we know there are ~7 millions outside Nepal. So this means we are total of 37 million!!

Please somebody shed some light on this.
