The only permanent solution is dual citizenship, we should not settle for less than that though its a long way to go.

The immediate solution is to file a case in the court to honor for economic, social and cultural rights mentioned in citizenship act for NRN. Once the court gives order, then only these immigration and malpot staff will work.

The next step is they should draft and pass the regulation as per Citizenship Ammendment done few months back to describe economic, social and cultutal rights for NRN.

ehho2, what that nrnusancc talk session was , are they not aware as if the guy in YouTube that you shared ? Different talk from different people and Nepal govt agents who handles citizenship are dead like murda. No any official statement well this was done by prachande just to make his India visit good for himself not for NRNs or for Nepal so basically it’s a cluster f$$k, just to get that fake nrn citizenship it took 20 years and should we still believe govt will allow full fledge social, economic , culture rights.

Sansad has started. Anyone hear anything about further discussions to clarify and simplify NRN citizenship?

I am a NRN (has foreign ctzp but has not got the NRN card yet) who is going to inherit some ancestral agricultaral land outside of Ktm. If you have any information on this, please let me know if I should wait for the NRN Nagarikta or take NRN ID card and inherit the land based on NRN ID card. I just want to inherit it, don't want to sell or do anything. As far I understand, its been almost 2 years and NRN Karyabidhi has not come out yet so we can not use NRN Nagarikta as Malpot and gov offices still don't recognize it officially. I was hoping that the all the rules will come out and we will be able to use NRN Nagarikta but looks like that its going to long time so not sure what to do. Thanks in advance.
