I have been here in H1B in an Indian consulting company for four months. I have a four year degree in IT and a couple of years experience in tech support. I was given Websphere Admin(IBM application server) training and marketed, but my first project turned out to be too tough for me. Do I get out of status if taxes are not paid for a certain period? Can I transfer my H1B easily to any other appropriate company?

Please suggest.

If you do not get paystubs more than three months then your H1b is in Problem. Yes, you can transfer your H1B anytime to any other company. Websphere is not that hard, if your work environment is too tough then you can find another client rather transfering the H1B, this is just my suggestion, please do not take it other way.
