Biography:

Ayurveda, a form of holistic living rooted in early Hinduism which enriches the spirit by encompassing all things surrounding an individual, is somehow the perfect name for this band's extremely intense, yet beautiful, progressive rock vibe. The remarkable diversity of the musical experiences which have surrounded and inspired band members, including two Nepalese guitarists, have molded Ayurveda's unique, signature sound into something electric, subliminal, sweet and vicious all at the same time.

Since solidifying the current lineup in 2006, an intense, infectious and insanely positive chemistry has overtaken this band and the people who have been fortunate enough to see them live. With the hometown support of local fans, radio, and print publications, Ayurveda has established themselves as the premier rock act of Ithaca's thriving music scene and are now expanding their following throughout the Northeast, Midwest and Mid-Atlantic.

Their full-length effort, currently being recorded at Pyramid Studios in Ithaca, New York, with legendary producer Alex Perialas (Bad Religion, Anthrax, Testament, Overkill, S.O.D.), is slated for release in early fall 2007.
