What documents do we need to invite parents for graduation ceremony. I have the invitation letter from school, transcript, copies of passport, invitation letter (from me) and an affidavit of support.
Does one need to buy the tickets before the interview or an itenary will do? Also, I've heard that it's best to apply one after the other. How true is that? Does anyone have any experience with the procedure. Any suggestions would be very appreciated.

Thanks,
-LoGiN

Request your international student adviser to write a letter to Consulate General in Nepal requesting to issue tourist visa for visiting parents. Usually internation student adviser writes such letter. This helps a lot.

Thanks D_prasad.
I already have that document sent. Was wondering if there is anything that should be done.

Hello Login, yes you need to get a invitation letter from your international office's adviser and send it to your parents. You don't need to send those passports, transcripts and shits! A letter from internatioanl office is enough to replace your transcripts and your status!
But, most improtantly, make sure that your parents would show the bank balance from Nepal. I think these khaire's now wanna see people from Nepal to travel with their own money from nepal rather than your dollar that you have saved in your bank here. Baru Nepal ko tanna paisa dekhauna launus, that will work.........Khaire haru ko ni arthatantra ma sukkha jo lageko chha..............
Also, ask your parents to make a letter from municipality office stating that you are their son or daughter or whatever..........
Hope this information is useful for u......

Thanks Bhale for the info.
But should my parents apply for the visa on seperate days? i.e. Mum first and dad second? I've heard that they usually reject one of them if you go to the interview together. Has anyone had/heard of this experience?
Thanks again
