hey guys, I recently read that new legislations (US) have been passed to prevent travellers from (using?? or taking on aboard??)laptops with Li-Ion battery. I don't know if this is true or not? Can someome who has travelled abroad recently confirm this to me? If there are new changes made recently (as recent as 1 yr) can you explain to me what they are?

yes....i did in my time. i had no problem. it was new, but i made it look like a used one.

You are allowed to take laptop as hand carry. I did that on Feb 27, 2007
