Hi,

I am looking for a laptop to send home to my parents, something under $500. Any great deals that you guys know of? Any recommendataions??

Things I am looking for:

1. Good battery life (you know with the electricity situation in KTM)

2. Built in web cam, so that they can use video chat.

I don't really care if its a XP machine, or whether or not it has HDMI input, I am looking for something decent don't want something really crappy, but something that will last them 3-4 years....

I recommend toshiba laptops because they r light, provide good battery lifetime, have stereo sound and quite cheaper...
If u are buying a cheap laptop, u'd rather not buy a Dell or a HP.
