I guess i can rule out CPT, coz i am not interning.

As far as economic hardship goes, it would be pretty idiotic to show all that wealth (although fake) to get admitted and then turn around and ask for economic hardship..probbaly why the 9 month wait....but i will look into it..and if so, it would be po...intless anyway.

Going off topic, would you say- when applying to a new school, is it a good choice to sponsor yourself, showing your personal saving if one can do so?? or is it better to just go with the standard fake Nepali bank statement?

 Its absolutely fine to show your bank balance for the School and it will not affect your Immigration status or anything related to Immigration. It is actually better to show your own Bank Balance from US rather than bringing a fake one from Nepal. 

I was in the same boat couple year ago and my Int'l advisor preferred my Own bank balance.

Thanks,  but won't they question how i have all the required funds?? Did they ask you for your W2s and stuff like that...coz these are documents that i wont be able to provide if asked for..
