  Parents of US citizen

I wanted to bring my parents to US for a visit. I dont want to apply for IR5 (green card for parents) because they dont have any intension to stay in US. They cannot do back and forth every 6 months.  Heard that US citizen had to follow the standrad process of IR5 and cannot call them on tourist visa.(visa will be denied)  Does anybody has similar situation? Please share.

 My sibling who is a US citizen is also going through the same situation. We aren't gonna apply for our parents' green cards because of the same reason but we do want them to come visit us. I didn't there is this problem though. People with similar experience, please share your knowledge with us.

Well i guess Visa Extension from 6 months to one year would be an avenue to take....
